Looking back at Canada..

Location: Redondo Beach (at home in the morning..)

Last day in the US. Though I just started this couple days ago, I just realized that I should say something about Canada since I was there for 8 months..

Feels like its been a while since I was in Canada, for some reason. For sure it doesn't feel like I was still there just last week. Its hard describe a 8-month experience in just few sentences, but I'll try. I like to rock bullet points (simple and nice):

- People: were nice. I went to make friends, but ended up becoming brothers and sisters. Just for this reason I don't regret deciding to study abroad (despite people at Waseda telling me it was pointless for me to go).

- School: University of Toronto and Rotman owned me. I was leashed and played around with. Half the memory I have of Canada is in different libraries; Munk, Woodsworth hallway, Vick, oh and yeh..Robarts. I do think I let school take too much of my time, but at the same time I think I needed it. I'd much rather look back and think that way, rather than hoping I spent more time studying after seeing couple "F"s on blackboard couple weeks after. So overall YES U of T had me whipped, but NO I didn't slack and dealt with it.

- Coffee: Coffee maker sucked. I don't know why. But, we (coffee and I) got closer and I realized that I can't live without her (especially in Canada..)

Overall it was good. Someday I'll come back to visit. I don't know how much I'll remember at that time, but hopefully I'll meet some old friends there.
